Report: Chris Paul's Knee Injury Could Keep Him Out For a Month

Well, this is not the ideal launch for Chris Paul's tenure in Houston. According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Rockets fear CP3's knee injury could keep him off the court for a month.

Stein notes that the Rockets are listing Paul as day-to-day and that they plan to be as cautious as possible with the 13-year veteran. Paul, who has a history with knee injuries, sat out the final minutes of Houston's season opening win in Golden State and missed the following night's game in Sacramento altogether. Clearly, it's unlikely Paul will play in tomorrow's home opener with against the Dallas Mavericks, but these situations can be fluid.
